Eileen Marie Zerkle, age 80, of Casstown, Ohio died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Covington Care Center, Covington, Ohio. She was born October 5, 1927 in Elizabeth Twp., Ohio to the late Harvey Markley and Nellie Shell Markley. Mrs. Zerkle was married to Alva W. "Dick" Zerkle who preceded her in death on December 15, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Diann Fine of Casstown, Ohio; sisters, Patricia Robert Bell of Troy, Ohio, Marge Fox of Casstown, Ohio; brother, Maurice Markley of Christiansburg, Ohio; three grandchildren, Ryan Sarah Fine of Troy, Ohio, Bryan Jodi Fine of Covington, Ohio and Alisha Rhyan Eichhorn of Troy, Ohio; five great-grandchildren, Ella & Mara Fine; Garrett & Addison Fine and Rhylee Eichhorn. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Zerkle was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Steve Fine; four brothers, William, Fred, Luther and Richard Markley; two sisters, Helen Zimmerman and Phyllis Phillips. She was a graduate of Miami Central School, Casstown, Ohio, a member of Casstown United Methodist Church, and an original member of the Casstown Fire Dept. Women's Auxiliary. Funeral service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the Rev. David Ramming officiating. Interment to be held in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
