Edna Maxine Walker Edna Maxine Walker, age 70, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 10:30AM on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at her residence. She was born on May 16, 1937 in Cookeville, Tennessee, to the late Elbert and Hattie Jackson Walker. She married Donald D. Walker on November 17, 1956. In addition to her husband, Donald, Mrs. Walker is survived by her three sons and two daughters in-law: Richard and Shari Walker of Troy, George Walker and special friend, Danna Adkins of Urbana and Douglas and Teresa Walker of Heavner, Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and James Giblin of Troy, Ohio; two brothers: Bill and Harold Walker of Cookeville, Tennessee; and one sister, Ruth Evans of Mobile, Alabama; Nine grandchildren: James Walker of Piqua, Ohio, Steven Walker of Troy, Ohio, Nathan Walker of Ironton, Ohio, Megan Walker of Troy, Ohio, Sandy Lee of Heavner, Oklahoma, Miranda Walker of Heavner, Oklahoma, Donald Walker currently serving in Iraq, Matthew Giblin of Troy and Leah Giblin of Troy; three great-grandchildren: Kenlee Dawn Lee, Robert E. Lee and Gabriel Walker. Mrs. Walker made a number of quilts for Hospice of Miami County. She retired from Marsh's Supermarket, Troy. A funeral service will take place at 10:30AM Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Harold Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio.
