Edna Estey Benham, 84, died at her residence on Monday, July 1, 2002. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Jill Benham; one daughter, Joyce Thomas; five grandchildren, Jennifer Bowman, Heather Gilliland, Angie Benham, Rebecca Benham and R.J. Benham; two great grandchildren, Alyssa Bowman and Lucas Gilliland. Mrs. Benham was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Viola Studebaker Estey, her husband, Robert W. Estey, siblings: Jay Estey, Troy; Alva Estey, Troy; Eunice Widener, New Carlisle; Louise Michner, Bloomville; Olivine Alleman, Pemberville. Mrs. Benham was a former cosmotologist. She was a graduate of Elizabeth Township School and was valedictorian of her graduating class. She was a member of Cove Spring Church and Cove Springs Grange. Graveside service will be at 10:00AM Friday, July 5, 2002 at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio with Rev. Paul Calvert officiating.
