Edna Eunice Ballard, age 84, of Troy, OH passed away on February 1, 2025 at Hospice of Miami County.  She was born on December 29, 1940 in Columbus, OH to the late Thomas Fulton and Edna (Creech) Carroll.  Eunice was raised by her sisters and brothers-in-law: Zella and Dewey and later, Rhoda and Herb.

Eunice is survived by her husband of 61 years of marriage: Robert Jerry Ballard; two children: Shelly (Mark) Gordon of Piqua, OH and Robert Jerry "Robb" (Lisa Gragg) Ballard II of Arizona; two grandchildren: Zachary (Nikki) and Samantha; one great granddaughter on the way; two siblings: Rhoda and Jim; half siblings and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved dog: Grover and siblings: Katherine "Kitty", Joe, Bob, Bill, Ray, Alma, Zella, John and Charles "Chuck", Susie and half siblings.

She was a graduate of Troy High School. Eunice was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Columbus.  She loved jewelry and gardening, but most important in her life was her family and her faith.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made in Eunice's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.
