Edgar F. Smith, 86, died at Trinity Community, Beavercreek, Ohio, formerly of Troy, Ohio on Wednesday, May 29,2002. He is survived by his wife, Mary N. Smith; daughters and sons-in-law: Peggy and Don Williams and Mary Ellen and Frank Elliott; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Leland and Eileen Smith; sister, Betty J. Smith; grandchildren: Bruce and Caryn Williams; Mark and Cathie Williams; great grandchildren, Brandon and Lauren Williams and Adam and Emily Williams. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruth Follmer Smith and a sister, Barbara McAfee. He was a Junior Achievement leader and volunteer at Brukner Nature Center. Mr. Smith graduated from McGuffy High School in Oxford and attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Mr. Smith retired from Brown Bridge Mills as plant supervisor. Services for Mr. Smith will be at 2:00PM Saturday, June 8, 2002 at graveside, Washington Cemetery, Washington Court House, Ohio.
