Earl J. Davis, 77, died Saturday, June 1, 2002 at his residence. He is survived by sons John, Jim, Tim and Harold Davis and a stepdaughter: Bobbie Sue George; brothers: Paul and Don Davis and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Owen and Mildred K. Smock Davis; wife, Myrtle Frances; Brothers: Bobby, and Harold Davis and sisters Bonnie, Thelma and Shirley. Mr. Davis was formerly employed with Braun Brothers Packing Company and Dinner Bell Foods Co., Troy. He was retired from International Harvester Navistar Co. after 28 years of service. He has worked at various employments since his retirement. Visitation for Mr. Davis will be from 9-11am on Wednesday, June 5, 2002. Services will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 with Rev. John Shelton officiating.
