E. Leroy Vernon E. Leroy Vernon, age 61 of Casstown, Ohio, died at 2:46PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born December 13, 1947 in Troy to the late Vernal Bennerville and Alice Grovine Stockdale Vernon. His wife of 40 years, Linda White Vernon, survives. He is also survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Christina Marie and Jim Pepper of Quincy, Ohio and Denise Rena Vernon of Somerset, Kentucky; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Doug and Brenda Vernon of Casstown, Ohio and Donald Leroy Vernon of Troy; three sisters and a brother-in-law: Dorothy and David Johnson of Springfield, Ohio, Elsie Cockrell of Sidney, Ohio and Jo Ann Kiser of Grayson, Kentucky; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Glenn Scott of Miamisburg, Ohio, Richard "Mutt" and Linda Scott of Troy and Don and Rebecca Vernon of Greenville, Ohio; and fifteen grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by one son, Curtis Ray Vernon and one brother, Dean Vernon. He worked for Bob Cole in Troy for many years. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, P.O.
