Dwaine H. Cooper Dwaine H. Cooper, age 86, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 9:09AM on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Upper Valley Medical Center, ER. He was born on February 6, 1923 in Potsdam, Ohio to the late Ralph Smith and Mabel Castle Cooper. His wife of 62 years, Alberta M. "Bertie" Christian Cooper, survives. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Robert Partington of Fredericktown, Ohio; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dallas Dean and Lisa Cooper of Burlington, Vermont and Dee H. and Mary Jo Cooper of Lewisburg, Ohio; two sisters, Evelyn Speakman of Christiansburg, Ohio and Janice Honeyman of Troy, Ohio; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Daryl Cooper. Mr. Cooper formerly attended the Brethren Church in Phillipsburg, Ohio and he loved to travel. He was a farmer and worked with the Trojan Asphalt road construction crew. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, March 9, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio, with interment to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Ohio.
