Douglas D. Ratcliff, age 74, passed away on April 12, 2023 at Upper Valley Medical Center.  He was born on October 4, 1948 in Troy OH to the late Thomas S. and Bernice E. (Stoltz) Ratcliff.

Douglas is survived by brothers: Larry (Joyce) Ratcliff of Tipp City, OH, Bruce Ratcliff of Plain City, OH and Bob (Deborah) Ratcliff of Troy, OH and extended family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law: Marilyn Ratcliff.

He was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1967.  Douglas served in the US Navy during the Vietnam war and retired after 20 plus years.   He also worked at  Troy City Schools as a bus driver and custodian.  He enjoyed raising birds in his free time.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on July 27, 2023 at Dayton National Cemetery.
