Douglas Jackson, age 81, of Troy, passed away on November 11, 2024, at his home.  He was born on November 19, 1942, in Taylor, MI, to the late Nelson and Hazel Button.

Douglas is survived by his sisters: Gail Davis of MI and Gloria Miller of FL; grandchildren: Joanna (Angelo Gardner) Cales of Troy, OH, Joseph Przekop of Troy, OH and Jason Przekop of Piqua; great-grandchildren: Ava Przekop, Aleister King, Ayden Kelly, Bryson Gardner, Kyleigh King, Carley Przekop and Amelia Jo Przekop; daughters-in-law: Amy Przekop of Troy, OH and Jill Przekop of Troy, OH and his loving cat: Marley.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Clara (Raip) Jackson; sons: Joseph Przekop and David Przekop; sister: Judith Wells and brother: Kenneth Button.

He retired as a professional painter and mechanic.  He also loved music and working on cars in the garage.

Service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Animal Shelter at 1110 County Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373.
