DORSEY RAY ARTHUR, age 84, of Tipp City, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Koester Pavilion in Troy. He was born on September 6, 1932 in Verona, OH to the late Emmett and Eldora Arthur. He was preceded in death by both his wives, Celia Arthur and MaryAnn Arthur.

Dorsey is survived by one sister, Delphia Kiggins of Delphos and one stepdaughter, Darla (Bill) Brown of West Milton; four grandchildren: Daniel, Alisea, Isaac, and Destanie; and nieces and nephew Brent Kiggins of Delphos, OH. In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by his sisters Delores Arthur and Dollie Welbaum and his brother Dave Arthur.

Dorsey was a member of the Odd Fellow Lodge. He loved reading and watching westerns. Dorsey proudly served in the US Army. He retired from Clark Machine after 40 years of service.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday August 7, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Garden in Sidney. Full military honors will be provided by Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy. Friends may call one hour prior the service at the funeral home.
