Wonderful Mother, Faithful Friend Mrs. Dorothy Mae Younce passed into the presence of the Lord on Saturday afternoon, October 18, 2003, at the Koester Pavilion. She had been a resident there for some time. Born October 31, 1915, she was 87. She was the daughter of Myrtle Irene Max and Walter E. Max, who have preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Mansfield D. Younce, and one sister, Mrs. Cecil Thelma Mumford. She is survived by her only son, Dr. Max D. Younce of Walnut Grove, MN., and a sister, Mrs. Lee Evelyn Fenner of Dayton, Ohio. Three grandchildren also survive her: Rev. Craig L. Younce of West Palm Beach, FL., Bradley S. Younce of Pipestone, MN., Douglas M. Younce Sr. of Pipestone, MN., and ten grandchidren: Brook Younce, Brynt Younce, Mrs. Dallas Jessalyn Guzman, Douglas Younce, Jr. of Troy, Ohio. Mrs. Cody Tara Smith; Craig W. Younce; Sara Younce of West Palm Beach, FL. Shannon Younce of Pipeston, MN, Ivory Younce, of Ft. Hood, TX., and Summer Younce of Perry, Ohio. Two great-grandchildren, Devon Guzman and Kailyn Guzman of Troy, Ohio. Visitation will be held at Baird Funeral Home in Troy on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 from 1:00-2:00PM before the 2:00PM funeral service. Dr. Max D. Younce will be officiating.
