Dorothy L. Stone, 90, passed away in her home on February 6, 2005. She was born in Alcony on September 6, 1914 to the late Ben and Alto Grawmer Davis. She married Charles A. Stone who passed away March 1941. She raised two daughters and has two sons-in-law, Kathleen and Vernon Schaefer of Tipp City and Marilyn and Harry Cecil of Lena, OH. Also surviving is a sister, Bernice Davis of Troy, two grandchildren, Allen Cecil of Troy and Tina Kevin Anderson of Troy and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister and brother-in-law, Osa and Frank Clark. Dorothy worked at Hobart Corporation for 38 years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She enjoyed tractor shows, flea markets and loved people. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the Rev. Ed Ellis officiating. Interment will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8pm on Friday.
