Dorothy Knoop Dorothy Kercher Knoop, age 95, of Troy, Ohio died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio. Dorothy was born on March 16, 1916 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Henry and Jennette Good Kercher. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Oliver W.N. Shepard of Normandy, France and Elizabeth and Thomas Herrlinger of Corrales, New Mexico; grandchildren, Kate Herrlinger of Denver, Colorado and Laura Herrlinger Ziegler of Albuquerque, New Mexico; great-grandchildren, Liam Pennamped and Olivia Ziegler. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Mark Knoop; son, John Jacob Knoop; and brother, Robert Kercher. A family service will be held at the Knoop Family Cemetery on Monday, April 18, 2011.
