Dorothy L. Duer died at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio on December 22, 2002. Mrs. Duer is survived by a son, Jeffrey Duer and a daughter Marianna Duer; brother, Robert Hack, many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burns and Winifred Hanlon Hack; her husband, Roy E. Duer, two brothers, John and Richard Hack. Mrs. Duer was a member of First United Methodist Church in Troy; volunteered at Stouder Memorial Hospital Auxiliary; volunteered for Miami County Republicans; volunteered for Adult Literacy. She retired from Hobart Manufacturing after over 15 years of service. She was also previously employed by Uhlman's on the square. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Riverside Cemetery Chapel on Thursday, December 26, 2002. Services will be at 1:00PM on Thursday, December 26 with Rev. Sandra Huber officiating.
