Dorothy May Zeller Botkin, age 88, formerly of Troy, OH and more recently of Garbry Assisted Living, Piqua, OH died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Piqua Manor, Piqua, OH. She was born November 19, 1920 in Casstown, OH to the late William and Sylvia EdnaFrancis Zeller. Survivors include sons, Paul E.Denise Botkin Jr. of Curran, MI; Larry D. Ann Botkin of Bidwell, OH; daughter, Marsha Lynn Steve Elliott of Covington, OH; grandchildren, Larry J. Botkin of Dayton, OH; Wade Yoly Botkin of Miami, FL; Scott Meredith Elliott of Dayton, OH; Nathan Tanya Elliott of Wyoming, RI; and Jacki Botkin of Orlando, FL and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Botkin in 2004; sisters, Pauline Emswiler, Ellen Sturgeon; brothers, Robert, Charles, and Clarence Zeller. She was active with the Trojan Grandmothers Club #540, Life Member of the National Council of Senior Citizens; National Campers & Hikers Association and Pathfinders, Lebanon, OH. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday May 13, 2009 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with her son-in-law, Steve Elliott officiating. Burial will take place in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to service on Wednesday.
