Doris J. Wilhelm, age 88, of Troy, OH passed away on September 28, 2021 at the Ohio's Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Facility, Troy.  She was born on November 5, 1932 in Miami County, OH to the late Howard and Rozella (Macy) Welbaum.  She was married to Jack A. Wilhelm and he preceded her in death on December 30, 1996.

Doris is survived by her daughter: Ramona (James) Ashton of Troy; grandson: Blake (Debbie) Cruikshank, Jr., of Casstown; sister:  Hope Fry of  Troy; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Doris was preceded in death by her siblings: Harold, Richard, Gary, Donald, Jack and James Welbaum and Betty Ashman, Thelma Canan, Velma Meek, Lova Miller, Patty Huerta and Marjorie Cochran.

She was a member of the Troy Gospel Tabernacle; Waco Historical Society and the Brukner Nature Center.  She retired from BF Goodrich Company in 1989.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Paul Hickernell officiating.  Interment to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City, OH.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
