Doris H. Adams, 74, died unexpectedly at Urbana Mercy Hosiptal on Thursday, June 6, 2002. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law: Sandra K and Terry Ferguson and Marjorie D. Johnson; seven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents William H.and Irene Norris Durand; her first husband, Charles C. Friend, second husband, Franklin W. ''Dude'' Bailey and her third husband, George R. Adams; four brothers, William, Leroy, Robert and Ellsworth Durand; sister, Gertrude Roeth and grandson, James L. Johnson. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Troy. Graveside services for Mrs. Adams will be 3:00PM on Monday, June 10 at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio
