DOREEN K. "DODIE" SAUNDERS, age 59, of Troy, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  She was born on July 16, 1961 in Troy to the late Earl F. Lenehan and Joyce A. (Hoover) Fiste.

Dodie is survived by her children: Joseph L. Messaros of Troy, Tracy Saunders of Casstown, Brandy Ropp of St. Paris, Jessica Seippel of Tipp City, Amber Holscher of Covington, Alishia Saunders of Houston, Linda Diehl of Houston and Chris Saunders of Cleveland; sister: Denise Hedrick of Troy; step sister: Tambra Brothers; grandchildren: Derik, Jacob, Heather, Leonard, Addison, Dameon, Marissa, Grace, Ashley, Jeffrey, Emma, Tayler, Jasmine, Brennan, Seamus and Colman; and nephews: Jason Hedrick and Justin Hedrick.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Debbie Huslein.

Dodie attended Tipp City High School.  She enjoyed jewelry making.  More than anything else, Dodie loved babysitting and spending time with her grandbabies.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Private interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
