Dora Louise Brower, age 85, of Troy, OH passed away on April 15, 2024, at Clairbridge of Troy.  She was born on January 15, 1939, in Troy to the late Chester and Genevieve Mae (Hershey) Paulus.

Louise is survived by her husband of 65 years: Frank E. Brower, Jr.; daughter: Lori S. Brower of Troy; son and daughter-in-law: Terry L. and Diana L. Brower of Troy; grandchildren: Travis Salyer and Joel Salyer, both of Troy; and brother: Chester J. Paulus of Bradenton, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Lucinda K. "Cindy" Brower; and brother: Don Paulus.

Louise was a 1957 graduate of Milton Union High School.  She was a member of Miami County Gem and Mineral Club, Batty Binders Club and Button Club.  Louise enjoyed wintering in California and Florida, quilting, button collecting and traveling.  Louise and Frank, Jr., took over operation of Brower Stationers in Troy from Frank, Sr. in 1964 and continued running the business for 42 years before passing it on to the next generation.

Family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy, followed by a Graveside Service at Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
