Donna Jean Urick Donna Jean Urick, age 68, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 12:20PM on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Troy Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on August 24, 1941 in Clayton, Ohio to the late Dale Clayton and Alberta Denlinger Oaks. Her husband, Galen D. Urick, survives. She is also survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Jeffrey Mote of Troy, Ohio, Betsy and Steve Johnson of Bexley, Ohio and Rebecca Cook and fiance Richard DeFord of Sidney, Ohio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Ron Brewer and Marilyn and Steve Hero all of Lakeview, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Diane Oaks of Carnsville, Georgia; and grandchildren, Alex, Hunter, Eva Jean, and Leo. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Oaks, and one sister, Joyce Oaks. Donna was a 1960 graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School. She was a stay-at-home mom. She was a member and Deaconess of the First United Church of Christ, Troy and a member of Ruth's Circle of the Women's fellowship at the church; and also a member of the Troy Christian Women's association. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on July 10, 2010 at the First United Church of Christ, 120 South Market Street, Troy, Ohio 45373. A luncheon will follow in the church dining room.
