DONALD H. KLINE

Donald H. Kline, 82, of Troy, OH passed out of this life on Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH following a sudden illness.  He was born on December 26, 1931 in Winona, MN to the late Peter Kline and Gertrude (Lindsey) Kline.  He was married to his wife of 44 years, Nancy Elizabeth. (Rein) Kline and she preceded him in death on July 21, 2004.

He is survived by his son, Donald R. Kline of Troy; three grandchildren, Kristina Kline of Troy; Chrystyan Kline of St. Marys and Austyan Kline of Dayton; and two great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Joseph and Aaden Kline.  In addition to his parents and wife, Donald was preceded in death by his sisters, Winona Mae Kline, Ruth Kline, and Audrey Janey Kline and brothers, William Dwight Kline, Peter Norman Kline, Floyd Dudley Kline, and Orville David Kline.

He was a US Veteran of the Korean War.  He was a maintenance supervisor with FlowServ Inc. in Dayton, retiring in 1991. He was a newspaper carrier for the Dayton Daily News since 1980.

Services will be held 2:00PM Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Baird Funeral Home with private interment in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH.  The family will receive friends from 12:00PM -2:00PM on Friday at the funeral home.
