Don C. Heffelfinger, age 72 of Troy died Wednesday, June 20, 2001. Survived by his wife, Reva J. Wright of 52 years; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Candace; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jack Stamper and son-in-law, Jerry Collett; brothers, Harold, Roger and Tommy; sisters, Delphine Newman, Ruby Taylor and Doris Brown; grandchildren, Matthew Collett, Amy Wade, Jackie Collum, Chad Heffelfinger, Tommy Heffelfinger and Rob Holbrook; great-grandchildren, Spencer Collett, Zachary Collett, A.J. Wade, Taylor Collum, Bretnie Collum and Madison Heffelfinger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Algie Thomas and Treva Curtis Heffelfinger; son, Donald; daughter, Donnita K. Collett; four brothers, Nolan, Ned, Richard and Dale and one sister, Virginia Baldwin. Member of the VFW; Moose and Troy Police Auxiliary. A WWII US Army Veteran having received the Victory and Army of Occupation Medals. Retired in 1995 from Hobart Brothers Company.
