DICK L. DURHAM

Dick L. Durham, Age 79, of Troy, OH passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy, OH. He was born on August 17, 1936 in Kokomo, IN to the late Elston and Sarabelle (Catron) Durham. He married Arlene Filip on May 3, 1958 and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by one son: Dave (Nina) Durham of Powell, OH; one daughter: Debbie (Blake, Jr.) Cruikshank of Casstown, OH; two sisters: Sue (Larry) Hinders of Ooltewah, TN and Joyce Kinney of Poland, IN; two granddaughters: Holly (Jared) Cress of Laura, OH and Krystal (Greg) Covington of Troy, OH; one grandson: Justin Bantz of Piqua, OH; and 9 great grandchildren.

Dick retired from both Yellow Freight and American Honda; in addition he was the owner of City Kickers Western Outfitters. He belonged to the American Legion Post 43 in Troy, OH and was a member of the Union Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy, OH with Pastor Dale Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 5 from 5:00-7:00p.m.
