Obituary

Diane Most Diane Most, age 48, formerly of Beaumont, TX and more recently of Troy, OH, died at 6:37AM Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH. She was born January 2, 1959, in Beaumont, TX, to the late Robert Lee "Toony" Berwick and Lillian Mains Cox of Sugarland, TX. She married Walter E. "Bud" Most and they spent 26 years together. In addition to her husband, Walter, and her mother, Lillian, she is survived by her stepfather, Larry Cox of Sugarland, TX; son, John Mathew "Jake" Most of Troy; daughter, Christina Rouse Melke and James Melke of Vandalia, OH; two grandsons: Malachi and Quentin; three sisters: Janice Healy of Surgarland, TX, Pamela Zemer of St. Helens, Oregon, and Lisa Butaud of Magnolia, TX; two brothers: Michael Berwick of Spring, TX, and Kenneth Burch of Oregon; two aunts: Dorothy Young and Marie Berwick of Houston, TX; and one uncle, Charles Berwick of Houston, TX. She was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by several siblings. Diane had a lifelong passion for animal welfare and rescue efforts. The family will receive friends from 5-8PM Friday at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with prayer service at 7:45PM and Sunday from 4-6PM at Broussard's Mortuary in Winnie, TX, with service to follow at 6:00PM. Interment to be held at Clark Cemetery, Beauregard Parish, Louisiana at 11:00AM on Monday, October 1, 2007. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Vocations Race Horse Adoption Program, 3293 Wright Rd., Laura, OH 45337.
