Obituary

DIANE A. BISHOP, age 73, of Troy, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  She was born in Columbus, OH on July 26, 1944 to the late Dr. Andrew and Ottilie (Fisher) Imhoff.

Diane is survived by her husband of 22 years: Richard D. Bishop of Troy; six children: Jeffrey Macklin of Troy, John Macklin of Dayton, Todd Macklin of Phoenix, AZ, Chad (Kristi) Martin of Troy, Joshua (Jennifer) Nallen of Troy and Matthew Nallen of Troy; siblings: Carol Fogle-Salyer of Frazeysburg, Kathy Foreman of Marion, Linda Kissinger of Clearwater, FL, Rick Smith of Phoenix, AZ and Chris Burris of Phoenix, AZ; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Connie Wright and Debbie Roberts.

Diane was a member of Troy View Church of God.  She was a former instructor of Culinary Arts at Upper Valley JVS.  Diane enjoyed gardening, animal rescue of cats and dogs and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Dan Cain officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
