Deron Lee Smock, age 56, of Fletcher, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at his residence.  He was born on August 30, 1965, in Troy, to Norman Smock of Casstown and the late Sandra (Travis) Bradley.

In addition to his father, Deron is survived by one daughter: Megan Smock of WV; three siblings: Eric (Tinell Priddy) Smock of VA, George "Gee" (Courtney) Bradley of Dayton and Trisa Noble of PA; one grandson: Gunner Herbert; and nieces and nephews: Scott and Logan Smock and Tara, Chelsea and Brandy Noble.

Deron attended Troy City Schools.  He was the owner/operator of Deron's Painting.  Deron enjoyed camping, fishing, the outdoors and spent many fun evenings sitting by the fire.  He loved cooking and grilling and always enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on March 5, 2022, at Miami Memorial Park in Covington.
