Dennis E. Mann, 56, died Monday, November 18, 2002 at University Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Sprague Mann of Delphos, Ohio; his wife of 24 years, Annette Lammers Mann;sons, Gabriel Mann and Michael Mann;daughter, Denise Mann; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Virginia Mann; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Mann was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio; member of Parish Council at the church; current member and Past President of the Troy Board of Education and also serving on the boards of the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School, the Hayner Cultural Center and the Troy Recreation Department. He was a former soccer, baseball and Odyssey of Mind coach; member of Music Boosters; Troy Noon Optimist and Technician for the Sidney Dance Company. He served in the US Air Force for 3 years in Bitburg, Germany as a sergeant. He graduated from Delphos St. John High School in 1964; received his Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering. Mr. Mann retired for the City of Troy as Building and Electrical Inspector; he was formerly employed as Director of Plant Operations at Stouder Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, November 21 with a prayer service at 8:00 at Baird Funeral Home. A mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio at 11:00 AM Friday, November 22, 2002 with Rev. Fr. Thomas Brunner officiating.
