Deborah D. Hays, age 60, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at her residence.  She was born on February 3, 1965, in Dayton to Loretta (Crider) Hays of Troy and the late Bruce E. Hays.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children: Timothy (Sara) Fugate of NC, Jacob Fugate of Troy and Mary Fugate (Fiancé Trever Fitzgerald); her partner: Shawn D. Egalite of Troy; sister: Tammy (Marty) McGillivary of Troy; grandchildren: Nolan Fugate and Elena Darlene Fitzgerald.

Deb was a graduate of Wayne High School and received her Associate Degree from Wright State University.  She also received many certifications and accolades for her work in maintenance. She was a Maintenance Manager at Collins Aerospace in Troy. She loved her family and enjoyed writing, mini golf, playing cards and traveling. Debbie was constantly giving to others, finding any way to help and support the people around her. You couldn't find a more generous, caring spirit. Her family was her life and her grandchildren were her whole world, and she will be so missed.

Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
