Obituary

David C. Walker David C. Walker, age 73, formerly of Troy, Ohio and more recently of Mills River, North Carolina passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 9, 1937 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Charles and Mildred Kassinger Walker. His wife, Marilyn McQueen Walker, survives. He is also survived by his children and their spouses: David P. Kelly Walker of Troy, Ohio, William R. Walker of Louisville, Kentucky, Laura Kevin Loghry of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Arthur Jennifer Lynch of Fletcher, North Carolina; sister Judith Lawrence Knittle of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren: Taylor and Quinn Walker, Jazz and Katie Walker, Logan, Carson and Mackenzie Lynch, and Sydney and Delaney Loghry; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald Walker. David graduated with a degree in Economics from Gettysburg College where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He was a member of Patterson Masonic Lodge in San Antonio, Texas and served three years as Lieutenant in the US Air Force. He worked as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a division of Pfizer, Inc for 25 years. After moving to Ohio, he was employed locally by Tool Tech of Springfield, Ohio as Vice President of Sales. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church, Troy, with Rev. Dr. Richard Culp officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
