David Anderson Via, age 62 of Troy died Wednesday, July 3 at the Mercy Anderson Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Survived by his wife of 37 years, Madonna J. Miller Via; son, Nathan Via; daughter, Natalie Via; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mrs. Charles Alta Gwinn; Mrs. Gary Brenda Orndorff; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry and Karen Via and Sherman Via and brother-in-law, Dave Karnehm. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Naomi Mauchamer Via; sisters, Violet Marino and Lucretia Karnehm and brothers, Clifford and Thomas Via. Mr. Via was a member of the American Welding Society; the Loyal Order of the Moose #1044 and the Troy Fish and Game Club. He was retired from National Guard and a veteran of the US Marine Corp. He served as a welding instructor with Hobart Brothers/ITW for over 15 years.
