Toller
June 9, 1964 – March 10, 2025
David Edward Toller, age 60 of Troy, Ohio passed away on March 10, 2025 surrounded by family after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born on June 9, 1964 to Norma (Pleiman) Toller and the late Joseph Edward Toller. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 40 years Rose (Reardon) Toller; his son and daughter-in-law David and Amanda Toller of Troy, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Vania Toller of Blue Ash, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law Andrew and Megan Toller of Troy, Ohio; five beautiful grandchildren, Ari, Camila, Nora, Chase, and Theo; and mother-in-law Mary Ann Reardon of Piqua, Ohio.
He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Mark Fullenkamp; sister and brother-in-law Deb and Steve Albers; brother and sister-in-law Nick and Susie Toller; sister and brother-in-law Patty and Dan Hoelscher; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Deb and Jim Stein; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Scott and Gail Reardon; and sister-in-law and brother-in law Kelly and John Liddy. As well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Harold Reardon, brother-in-law James Reardon, brother-in-law Timothy Reardon and niece Ann Marie Fullenkamp.
David graduated from Fort Loramie High School in 1982. He graduated from Edison Community College with a degree in Electrical Engineering. David worked for Auria in Sidney, Ohio with 35 years of service and also worked for Panel Control, Inc. in Anna, Ohio. He had a passion for helping others, often providing his services as a handyman to those in need.
David was an inspiration to his son's lives by coaching, being a boy scout leader, and teaching religion. Countless memories were made taking his sons camping, fishing, hunting, kayaking, and hiking. David had such great love for his grandchildren. He was always present for every activity, event, and birthday party, showing them the gift of immeasurable love. He always had a look of pure joy when playing with them.
David loved nature and the outdoors. Never lost, always able to find his way home. He enjoyed life to the fullest, whistling wherever he went. David was known for his bubbly and contagious personality. He would strike up a conversation with anyone he met. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy, Ohio. He was an inspiration to all. His kindness and smile will never be forgotten and he will be missed by so many.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, March 17, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Troy, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Sunday and 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM on Monday at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
