DAVID "BUCK" SWIER, age 70, of Piqua, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy.  He was born on November 16, 1946 in Whitesburg, KY to the late David Swier, Sr. and Betty (Campbell) Swier Vincent.  Buck grew up in Yakima, WA along with four siblings: Rick, Randy, Tom and Debbie.

Buck is survived by his wife of 40 years: Sandy (Woodward) Swier; three daughters: Misty D. (Joe) Hill of Piqua, Krista M. (Bert) Gogan of Gold Bar, WA and Nicole D. (Ben) Allen of Piqua; step father: Daniel Vincent of Arcadia, FL; and six grandchildren: Brady, Riley and Josie Hill, Hayden and Sundra Gogan and Mason Allen.  He was a loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Buck was an avid golfer and loved his grandkids.  He attended Crossroads Church of God in Piqua.  Buck was employed in sales and most recently with Miracle Ear in Piqua.

Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 PM on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at New Horizon Church of God, 527 N. Market Street, Troy with Rev. Joe Hill and Brady Hill officiating.  Friends may call from 2:00 – 5:00 PM on Sunday at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
