David C. Seiple, age 84, former longtime resident of Troy, recently of Tipp City, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at SpringMeade Health Center.  He was born in Warren, OH on November 21, 1930 to the late Adelbert and Margaret (Nesbit) Seiple.  His beloved wife of 61 years, Diane H. (Farrance) Seiple, survives.

David is also survived by four daughters: Laura (John) Shindeldecker of Columbus, OH, Elaine (John) Gillen of Ashton, MD, Edie (Mark) Tremblay of Troy, OH and Amy (Chris) Huston of Troy, OH; one brother: Adelbert (Gail) Seiple, Jr. of Hudson, OH; grandchildren: Lucas (Jennifer) Shindeldecker of Beirut, Lebanon, Emily Shindeldecker of Columbus, OH, Joel (Courtney) Shindeldecker of Oakton, VA, Rick (Fiancé, Stacy) Gillen of Columbia, MD, Dan Gillen of Washington, DC, Chris (Brigid) Tremblay of Louisville, KY, Ryan Tremblay of Delaware, OH, Kara (Sean) Frantom of Troy, OH and Abby Huston of Columbus, OH; step-granddaughter: Andrea Reeser and family of Huber Heights, OH; great-grandson: Elias Shindeldecker; honorary daughter: Ludee (Ted) Vermaas of Boise, ID; and seven nieces and nephews.

Dave was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan.  He retired from BF Goodrich in 1990 after 37 years of service.  Dave was a Master bridge player, loved crossword puzzles, the Reds and Bengals, and having breakfast on Saturday mornings at "K's" with his friends. Dave was one of the original members of the Troy Civic Theater.  He enjoyed traveling, especially to Hilton Head Island.
