DAVID DAVE "PAPPY" LYNN PIKE Greybull, Wyoming resident, David Dave Lynn Pike, age 53, formerly of Troy, Ohio passed away suddenly in his home at Greybull, Wyoming on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Dave was born November 21, 1957 in Troy, Ohio to Robert Eugene and Nellie Mae Westfall Pike. Dave grew up in Troy and received his schooling and graduated from Troy City High School. On July 20, 1990, Dave married Deborah Debby Ann Tate in Troy, Ohio. Dave had a love for horses and raised Morgan and standard breed horses for sulky horse racing with his brother, Nelson. He enjoyed training and grooming horses and went to work for Shroyer's Horse Farm from 1990 – 2007. In October 2007 Dave and Debby moved to Wyoming and made their home in Greybull. Dave worked for M-I SWACO and was affectionately known as "PAPPY" by his co-workers. He enjoyed working out in his yard, fishing, and coon hunting in Ohio. Dave was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3086 in Basin, Wyoming. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nellie Pike and his niece, Nellie Angie Green. Dave is survived by his wife, Debby Pike of Greybull, Wyoming; his siblings, Debra Bentley and husband Bennie of Tipp City, Ohio, Sarah Jacobs and husband, Mark of Covington, Ohio, Ruth Ann Doyle of Tipp City, Ohio, Gerry Albany and husband, Robert of Tipp City, Ohio, Dorothy Gutierrez and husband, Joe of Sidney, Ohio, Nelson Pike of Troy, Ohio, and Bob Bobby Pike of Greybull, Wyoming. A viewing took place at the Atwood Family Chapel in Greybull, Wyoming on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy, Ohio from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and funeral service will be held at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment in the Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
