David Arthur Nosker, "AKA Pirate Papa and Papa Pushover" age 79, of Troy, OH passed away on April 9, 2025 at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, OH.  He was born on September 15, 1945 in Dayton to the late Francis L. and Georgia B. (Kelly) Nosker.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years of marriage: Barbara L. (Isaac) Nosker; children: David A. (Michelle) Nosker, Jr. of Troy, OH and Christopher I. (Sandra) Nosker of Troy, OH; sister: Michael Barger of Brookville, OH; brother: Samuel (Mary) Nosker of Vandalia, OH; papa's twelve grandchildren: Adam Jones, Justin Nosker, Jerryd Jones, Jordan Lane, Megan Nosker, Branden Nosker, Alexander Lane, Mackenzie Nosker, Mallery Nosker, Morgan Nosker, Ethan Nosker and Ashleigh Nosker and seven great granddaughters.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Aimeé Lynne Jones-Lane; sister: Judith Croghan and brothers-in-law: Thomas Croghan and Jerry Barger.

David was a graduate of Beavercreek High School of Dayton and he furthered his education in Maintenance Engineering. He retired in 1994 after 30 years with General Motors, Inland Division.  He enjoyed his Car Clubs; loved classic cars, classic rock and roll music and birds and animals.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
