David C. Netzley, age 89, of Troy died Wednesday. He was born of the late, William and Lula Mae Jackson Netzley in Union City, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dessie A. Sharits Netzley; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry E. and Sandra J.; Ronald T. and Marilyn L. and Timothy J. and Sharon L. Netzley; brother, Donald Netzley and sister, Lois Shull; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and eight step-greatgrandchildren. He was a member of the Troy Church of the Brethren;Troy Senior Citizens; last living founder of Troy Emergency Crew and first and last commander of the Troy Boat Club. He was formerly employed with the Troy Daily News; former supervisor with WACO and former owner/operator of Netzley Boat and Motor Sales.
