David E. ''Crazy Dave'' Manier, 59, of Troy, Ohio died on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born on January 15, 1946 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Firmin and Gladys Stephens Manier. He is survived by ten children, Leona Hartwick of Troy, OH; Janice and husband Gary of Covington, OH; Tammy Massey of Union, OH; Tina and husband Jimmy Adams of Brookville, OH; Destiny Manier; Gary Shaner of Troy, OH; Damien Manier and wife Mai of Kentucky; Daniel Manier; Dallas Manier and Dominick Manier of Troy. Also former wife Tracy Staten and Zachary Staten who was like a son; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins, cousin Fred Davis who was like a brother. Also surviving, sister Stella Andre of Sarasota, Florida; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Alexis Manier. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force; Troy Eagles and Troy Fish and Game. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2005 at 2:00PM at the Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Troy, Ohio with burial immediately following in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Friends may call on the family at Riverside Cemetery Chapel two hours prior to the service. Contributions may be made to the family.
