David Allen Johnson, born July 2, 1943 in Troy, passed away at home after a long illness on January 16, 2021 at the age of 77.  He leaves behind a loving wife, Ann Johnson, married for 24 years and together for 27 years.

He also leaves two brothers: James Johnson and Tom Johnson both of Alabama; children: Nakia Thompson of Piqua; Tameka Harrison of Greenville; Trisha Studebaker of Troy and Tim Johnson of Piqua; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents: Edward and Mary Elizabeth Johnson, he was preceded in death by brother: Fred Johnson.

David graduated from Troy High School.  He was a professional magician and owner and operator of Dave's Balloons and Magic.

A private service will be held by the family with interment in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown.  Memorial contributions may be made in David's name to the American Heart Association.
