DAVID L. COUSER, age 98, of Casstown, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy. He was born in Dayton, OH on April 11, 1923 to the late William F. and Mary (Zimmerman) Couser. His wife, Helen P. (Allen) Couser, preceded him.

David is survived by four sons: Jerry (Debbie) Couser of Piqua, James (Mary) Couser of Troy, David (Tanya) Couser of Fletcher and Robert (Vicky) Couser of Fletcher; nine grandchildren: Jerrod, Jennifer, Angela, Anita, James, Amy, Neil, Leah and Matthew; and sixteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph and Mark Couser and two sisters: Miriam (Couser) Leonard and Esther (Couser) Kreitzer.

David was a member of Troy Church of the Brethren in Troy. He worked as a machinist at Hobart Brothers in Troy, Ohio and retired from Frigidaire in Dayton, Ohio.  He served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during World War II.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
