DAVID B. CLARKE

DAVID B. CLARKE, age 86, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  He was born in Boone, IA on August 20, 1928 to the late Benjamin and Mary (Boersma) Clarke.  His wife of 65 years, Barbara (Hosier) Clarke, survives.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by daughter: Amy Cullis of Troy; sons: Dan (Sandy) Clarke of Huber Heights and Andrew (Elizabeth) Clarke of New Zealand; brother: Tom Clarke of CA; four grandsons: Justin (Steff) Clarke, Jay (Kay Watson) Cullis, Patrick (Shondia) Cullis and Jason (Jenn) Stormer; four great granddaughters: Eva Clarke, Allie and Kinsey Stormer and Opal Jean Cullis; and former son-in-law: Cass Cullis.  In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one brother: Dick Clarke.

David proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force.  He was employed in Cryptographic Maintenance Repair at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a civilian following his military service.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are being handled by Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
