DARRIN JOHN EGBERT, age 47, of Columbus, formerly of Casstown, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on April 6, 1970 to Marilyn (Rickert) Black and the late John Allen Egbert.

In addition to his mother, Darrin is survived by one sister: Darla Colebaugh of Tipp City; three brothers: Mark (Debbie) Egbert of Botkins, Lee (Nancy) Egbert of Botkins and Doug Egbert of Huber Heights; his partner: Patrick Oppie of Columbus; several nieces and nephews; and many friends

Darrin was a graduate of Miami East High School.  He loved camping, karaoke and traveling.  Darrin worked as a teamster with UPS.

Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Steve Spoon officiating.  Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM  on Tuesday  at the funeral home.
