Daniel J. Romie, age 54, of Troy passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born March 26, 1962 in Dayton to Donald J. and the late Delores (Ferdelman) Romie.

Dan is survived by his wife: Kim (Trombley) Romie of 22 years; sister: Denise R. Muir of Gaithersburg, MD; nieces: Savannah and Gabrielle Muir.  In addition to his mother, Dan was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Andrew Muir.

Dan was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #1776. He worked for Scioto services at the Honda Engine Plant in Anna and Reynolds & Reynolds in Kettering.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at St. Patrick Church with the Rev. Fr. James Duell as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park in Covington. Friends may call on the family Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Baird Funeral Home in Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus Council #3873, 409 E. Main St. Troy, Ohio 45373.
