Daniel C. Powell Daniel C. Powell, 25, of Troy, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at his residence. He was born June 6, 1982 in Troy, Ohio. Daniel is survived by his father, John W. Powell and his wife, Robin Powell, of Troy; mother, Loretta M. May Powell and her friend, Thomas J. Cox, of Troy; two brothers: David E. Powell of Troy and Matthew B. Halterman of Troy; sister and brother-in-law, Charity and Mike Breneman of Troy; grandparents, Hiram K. and Ella Johnson of Casstown, Ohio; and special friend, Cammie Grove of Troy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bruce and Margaret Powell. Daniel was a 2001 graduate of Troy High School and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and learning about history. He also loved his dog, Brodie. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, February 25, 2008, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
