Damon Keairns Damon Keairns, age 95, peacefully passed away in the presence of family on February 20, 2008 at the Sherwood Oaks retirement community near Pittsburgh, PA. Damon was born June 23, 1912 on the family farm in Hamilton Township, near Jackson, Ohio, the son of Oscar and Daphme Adams Keairns. Damon married Thelma McCoy on January 1, 1937 who preceded him in death at age 87 on April 26, 2003 at their home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Viewing will be held Monday, February 25, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 at the Hamilton Christian Church followed by a memorial service at the Church. A time for fellowship will follow burial at the Hamilton Church cemetery. Local arrangements are being conducted by Baird Funeral Home Troy, Ohio.
