Dalton 'Mac' McDanal is survived by his wife, Mildred McCormick McDanel, a daughter, Sue McDanel, a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Robin McDanel; a sister, Mrs. Charles Glendora Huebner, three grandchildren, Heather McDanel, Mrs. Timothy Tracie Mueller, Ginger Fee and four great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Letha Boring McDanel and a brother, Dillard.

Mr. McDanel served in the US Army, WWII, receiving two Purple Hearts.

Services will be July 20 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with burial in Forest Hill Memorial Gardens, Vandalia, Ohio with VFW Memorial Honor Guard at graveside.
