Dale L. Voorhis, age 90, of Troy, OH passed away on February 17, 2024 at his daughter's home in Vienna, VA.  He was born on August 10, 1933 in Lebanon, IN to the late Carl Voorhis and Esther (Wright) Voorhis Dickerson.

He is survived by his daughters: Cindy (Mark) Tilly of Arnaudville, LA and Grace Janine Stonerock of Vienna, VA; stepchildren: Debra (Jim) Hudson of Piqua, OH, Rick (Karen) Wilkins of Casstown, OH and Brenda Wilkins of Troy, OH; siblings: Alma Heyl of Cincinnati, OH and Ed (Ruth) Dickerson of Troy, OH; grandchildren: Benjamin, Lauren, Margaret and John (Jack) Stonerock and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by stepfather: Donald Dickerson; spouses: Marguerette (Kudelka) Voorhis and F. Joan (Powell) Voorhis; son-in-law: Jeff Stonerock and siblings: Alan Voorhis, Donald Voorhis, Kenny Voorhis, Ed Voorhis and Ed Dickerson.

Dale proudly served his country in the US Army from 1953-1955.  He was formerly a sheet metal journeyman with Precision Metal Fabrication for twelve years and owner/operator with Miller Trojan Company – Graphic Art Equip for 32 years.

He was a member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles for 60 years.  He was also a member of the Troy Senior Citizens and an avid golfer.

A Memorial Service will take place at 10:00AM on May 18, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH, with interment and Military honors to follow in Greenville Creek Cemetery.
