Dale L. Bevington, age 91, of Troy passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on April 8, 1927 in Covington to the late Carl R. and Agnes (Loxley) Bevington.  On August 22, 1947, Dale married Letha Louise (Bowers) Bevington.  She preceded him in death on May 5, 1998.

Dale is survived by his daughter: Deborah (Rob) Edmiston of Port St. Lucie, FL; son: Ronald Bevington of Troy; five grandchildren: Jason (Jen) Bevington of Hilliard, Jeremy Bevington of Columbus, Joshua (Nicci) Bevington of Troy, Benjamin (Brittany) Bevington of Tipp City and Angela Bevington of Tipp City; and two great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents and his wife, Dale was preceded in death by his son: Kenneth Bevington; sister: Barbara Bevington; and brother: Bobby Bevington.

Dale was a graduate of Newton High School.  He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army.  Dale was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Troy.  He was also a member of Cove Springs Grange.  Dale enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He was a lifelong area farmer.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
