Dale E. Benedict, age 90, of Troy, OH passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit.  He was born on May 21, 1926 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Marion and Mildred (Overton) Benedict.  Dale was married to Marjorie Wurl Benedict and she preceded him in death.

Dale is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: David and Mary Benedict of Troy; and two granddaughters: Laura and Kevin Daniel of Hampton, NH and Lynne and Dan Zimmerman of Troy; and two great granddaughters: Lily and Ruby Zimmerman.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Dale was preceded in death by one brother: Roger Benedict and one sister: Jane Schwartz.

Dale received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.  He was a WWII US Navy Veteran.  He was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Troy.

Service will be held at 10:00 AM on January 21, 2017at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 60 South Dorset Road, Troy, OH with The Rev. Nancy Hardin officiating.
