Cynthia Strobel Lamb, age 60, formerly of Troy, OH passed away on March 25, 2024 in Gainesville, TX.  She was born on May 10, 1963 in Troy to Constance "Connie" M. (Ernst) Strobel of Troy, OH and the late William "Bill" Strobel.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 37 years: Morgan Lamb; her children: Kyle, Tyler and Marissa Lamb; siblings: Sandi (Jon) Eady, Angela Strobel, Randall Strobel; nieces and nephews: Kelli Eady, Jeffery (Bianka) Eady, Devon Strobel, Morgan Strobel and Gabrielle Strobel; aunts and uncles: Carol Brewer, Betty (John) Rethman and Shirley (Glen) Hamilton and cousins and friends.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her uncles and aunt: John Ernst, Larry Brewer, Betty and Bob Christian and first cousin: Tricia Hamilton.

While growing up in Miami County, Cindy was active in 4-H and volleyball.  Cindy attended St. Patrick's Elementary School and graduated from Miami East High School in 1981.  She graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and went on to serve 9 more years in the US Army.  Her greatest enjoyment in life was being a mom to her three children.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00PM-5:00PM on April 20, 2024 at the Elks Lodge Ballroom in Troy, OH with a time of sharing at 4:30PM.  A service is planned in Texas for May 10, 2024.
